How does hiring work?

Hiring equipment from Blast is a simple, cost effective and hassle free solution to all of your event requirements.  Simply select your required products from our vast range of inventory either on our website or give us a call..  A member of our experienced hire team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have for us as well as offer free, friendly advice.  We will provide you with a full itemised quote which you can make as many ammendments and adjustments to as you wish, only once you are fully happy with your quote will we confirm the order for you.  Even once an order has been confirmed, additions can be made up to the day of the event depending on availibility. 

How does the pricing structure work?

Our pricing is based on a 3 day rate (72 hours) which is more than suffiicient to allow for time to set up before and take down afterwards.  Our weekly rate is discounted and is the 3 day rate plus an additional 50%.

Can I change my order?

Additions are welcome up until the day of the event depending on availibility; any reductions or changes can be made up until the order has been confirmed, after that then a small charge will apply depending on how far away the event is scheduled to take place.

How and when do I pay for my equipment?

A 50% deposit will be required before the order is confirmed, the outstanding balance will then be required 14 days prior to the event.  Payment can be by cheque, card payment or BACS.

Do I need to clean my equipment before returning it?

All of our cutlery, crockery and glassware is deliovered clean and returned dirty, we offer a completetly free cleaning service.  Our catering equipment we require returned in the same condition as it was delivered however we can offer a professional cleaning service if you choose not to do it for a very competitive price.

Is there a charge for delivery/collection?

Delivery and collection charges will apply and rates will be quoted when you place your enquiry.  Our standard delivery/collection hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.  Alternatively you are welcome to collect from our depot in the centre of Bristol where we will be happy to help you load and unload your vehicle.

Bespoke Delivery/Collection

If you requrie delivery or collection outside of our normal delivery hours (9am-5pm Monday-Friday) then we will be happy to accomodate this but there may be a small additional surcharge.
